Welcome to TU ACM SIGHPC Student Chapter!

Greetings from the Thammasat University ACM SIGHPC Student Chapter!
We are excited to announce the launch of our official web platform.
📣 Introducing the TU ACM SIGHPC Student Chapter!
The TU ACM SIGHPC Student Chapter is a student-led chapter affiliated with the Association for Computing Machinery’s Special Interest Group on High Performance Computing (ACM SIGHPC). It serves as a platform for students to explore, learn, and engage with high-performance computing (HPC)—the technology that enables supercomputers to solve complex problems at incredible speed.
🎯 What the Chapter Does
During the Thammasat University Lampang Campus Open House on October 31, the Digital Technology and Innovation program showcased its curriculum to visiting high-school students. Alongside this, the TU ACM SIGHPC Student Chapter introduced its HPC-IGNITE initiative—providing introductory knowledge of supercomputers and high-performance computing in a fun and accessible way.
To spark curiosity, the chapter also hosted an interactive Q&A session with prizes for high-school visitors. This engaging activity boosted awareness of HPC and successfully fostered interest in supercomputing among prospective students.
